When I was a child my mom would read a book that had "hidden" lady bugs all throughout the story. To reminisce I hid some lady bugs all over my mug!
Can you find the lady bugs??
The L'bug feeding the ducks and geese :)
She'll throw a piece of bread into the water and then tear off a piece for herself! It's too funny!
I had a book with ladybugs in it, too! It was a different one, but I still have it!
ReplyDeleteHow do we buy this?
ReplyDeleteim with erin, how do we get one?
ReplyDeleteThree of us now want to know how to purchase this bit of coolness!
ReplyDeleteI love it and am so pleased you are finally satisfying the masses with a kit. BUT I'm so worried I could never duplicate it like the original! I don't sew. It is so tempting, though! YOU are very talented!
ReplyDeleteI would love to get a kit, how do I purchase one?
ReplyDeleteI would like a kit too--how do I order one?
ReplyDeleteHi. My question is the same as the others who have commented...how do we buy the kit? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm seriously considering buying a kit, too. I'll add to the others...how? Thanks!! I loved this when I saw it on designmom and I'd love to be able to make it. (Just have to evaluate if my very beginner sewing skills could handle it.)

ReplyDeleteHello Everyone,
ReplyDeleteJust to clarify, the original from the artist that actually designed this globe can be found at www.cupofcoco.squarespace.com. Not to be miss led Felicia did not actually make one, she just figured out how to make up a pattern and capitalize on the idea. Thanks! yes, savvy I'll admit. Jen Talbot

True true Jen :)I have yet to make a globe myself. I'm excited to make one... but my plate is just too full at the moment! I'll post pics when I do. And much praise to Cup Of Coco for the original!
ReplyDeleteAnyone can make this wall globe kit - I know, b/c I just finished my first one, and if I can follow these directions, anyone can! Wow - this has been SO fun to put together. There are so many pieces, but she has page after page of written and hand drawn instructions, so each step is definitely doable. Absolutely everything is included in the kit, so that when it is finished, you have everything that you saw on the one that cupofcoco originally designed. It is quite large, so will fill up a really nice sized space on your wall. I will post pics as soon as I get it hung up.
ReplyDeleteOh, one more thing - I cannot sew either! Even threading a sewing machine is too daunting for me. But, this is really simple for even a child to do (of course, with lots of parental assistance). But, my boys, ages 6 and 8, have actually sewn some of the little pieces together, once I get them started.
